A SMS/Text messaging is a brief message that can be sent to and from users via cellular phones.

3. What is the difference between an e-mail and text messaging?
SMS/Text messaging is a message that is sent or received using a cell phone number, whereas an e-mail is a communication message between users via an e-mail address on a computer or a smart-phone (Blackberry).
4. Is Text messaging provided by all cell phone carriers?
At this point, all major cellular providers offer text messaging in all their basic plans. There are different plans regarding SMS/Text messaging for each carrier, most, if not all, offer unlimited text messaging plans. If you receive a text without having a texting/SMS plan you can be charged on average 5¢ to 10¢ for each text.
5. How much information can be placed into a text message?
A regular text message includes up to 160 letters, numbers, spaces, symbols, and/or punctuation marks.
6. Will any of my company information be disclosed to any third parties?

7. How do consumers join my company's contact lists?
Any patrons of a company or establishment would text your company's short code to the Text Marketing Online phone number, where they are then registered to receive your company's promotions, advertisements, memos or announcements.
8. What is a short code?
A short code is a personalized company code, which is used by the consumer to sign-up for your establishment's text club. Example: "Text TMO to 88467, to join our Promotions' Club"
9. How does a text club work?
A consumer joins your company's text club by texting a personalized short code to Text Marketing Online. Once the consumer sends out the text, they are registered in that company's database to receive any
promotions or announcements. Your company decides on a personalized promotion that is then sent
electronically to the patrons/ clients of that establishment. At that point, your clients and customers receive
your promotion / advertisement on their cell phones via text messaging, which will help guide and direct
