I own and operate a bar and grill in Las Vegas. I have been texting promotions and event reminders for about 1 year and have had amazing nights. We only use this on weekdays when we need more customers, or when we have a bar announcement. We found Text Marketing Online on Google and we've been very happy with the return and customer service. I was very skeptical about Facebook marketing to begin with but when I was contacted by TMO they explained to me why I should be spending my internet marketing budget on Facebook.

The text club was easy to set-up, and doesn't really require any effort. We just put up our posters and bar stands and waited for the customers to sign up. Our customers are very into it (was my biggest concern). It took a little while for our database to start growing but it is worth it on nights when you get an extra 20-30 people to come in. The key for us isn't the people that we get to come in, it's the friends and co-workers that come with our text club members. The customer service was easy to talk to, and easy to get a hold of.

If I send her an e-mail, she answers immediately; if I call her on the phone, she actually answers! How rare is that nowadays! She set up a beautiful page, perfectly coordinated to our website and helped me orchestrate an e-mail blast to our guests announcing our new facebook page and getting them to "like" us with a special offer. We've picked up about 50 new "friends" already in only a week. Rachel is also helping us get our pay-for-click advertising set up on facebook.

In our pub we have found that getting people to join our PUB CLUB is simple and hassle free. We are new to the program and after one month we are seeing that the 20-30 crowd likes the program and thinks it's cool. We are seeing it drive in traffic. Receiving a text from us carries additional benefits to us, in that members who don't come in for a given promotion are more likely to visit us with in the next few days. Do not make phone calls to their company for a referral. Many of our clients are happy to give our company a referral through EMAIL only. If you think about it, would you really want to answer 50 or more calls per day to give a referral for another company that has nothing to do with you?
